Job Description:
ExpertCare is Hiring! We are looking for a patient, compassionate, and dependable caregiver to support an 11-year-old male with ADHD and anxiety in Berkley, MI. This part-time position involves providing after-school care, helping manage anxiety and emotional challenges, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The caregiver will play a key role in helping the child build coping skills and promoting positive behavior in a structured routine.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional support and help manage anxiety-related behaviors
• Assist with daily activities such as homework compliance, meal preparation, and recreational activities
• Encourage positive behavior and develop coping strategies for managing ADHD and anxiety
• Help the child stay on a structured routine during after-school hours
• Provide a safe, calm, and supportive environment
• Communicate with the family to ensure continuity of care and progress

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with ADHD and anxiety is preferred but not required
• Patience, understanding, and ability to manage challenging behaviors with empathy
• Comfortable assisting with homework and engaging in activities that promote learning
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Must be available for after-school hours
• Ability to maintain a calm, structured environment
