Activities (most critical to least critical)

1. Complete therapy visits to recipients in their homes or in the facility setting.

2. Complete thorough and timely documentation of visits and services provided to recipients and families.

3. Provide oversight and assistance to field therapists, including completion of monthly supervisory forms.

4. Review field staff documentation weekly to ensure accuracy and clinical correctness.

5. Conduct initial evaluations of new recipients and re-evaluations of current recipients.

6. Ensure federal and state compliance to maintain licensure, complete required CEU’s.

7. Attend meetings with recipients/families, CMH Supports Coordinators, and others as appropriate.

8. Maintain communication with therapy services office staff.

9. Facilitate trainings for field staff pertinent to the recipients served.

10. Conduct performance reviews for field staff.

  • Services provided predominately to children in Wayne and Macomb counties.
  • Up to $2,500 sign on bonus

Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a health care setting
  • 1+ year experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 6 months experience utilizing an EMR for documentation
