Job Description:

ExpertCare is Hiring! We are seeking a dependable, understanding, and patient caregiver to work with a 15-year-old male in Rochester Hills diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting adolescents with behavioral and emotional regulation needs and will be able to create a calm, structured, and respectful environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and guidance in the home and community as needed

• Support the teen with daily routines, organization, and emotional regulation

• Assist with social skills development and help manage frustration or mood shifts

• Engage in structured activities that promote focus and positive behavior

• Communicate with parents/caregivers about daily progress and concerns

• Follow a consistent care plan and apply strategies from paid training sessions

Qualifications:

• Experience working with adolescents, especially those with ADHD or mood disorders, preferred

• Must be calm, reliable, and proactive in managing challenging behaviors

• Willing to complete paid training in trauma-informed and behavior support practices

• Must pass a background check

Schedule: Part-time, with consistent weekly hours preferred. Flexible scheduling options available.
