Position: Community Living Support (CLS) Caregiver
Location: Waterford, Michigan
Schedule: Part-time (flexible hours)
Pay: $15.20–$16.20 per hour, paid weekly
Training: Paid training provided
We are seeking a dependable, encouraging caregiver to work one-on-one with a 14-year-old male in Waterford, MI. The caregiver will focus on building independent living skills, socialization, and appropriate community engagement. The client is verbal and wears pull-ups; training will be provided to ensure safe, confident care.
Responsibilities:
Support the client in developing community living and daily independence skills
Encourage positive social interactions in home and community settings
Assist with hygiene routines, including pull-up changes
Provide structured activities that build confidence, communication, and independence
Maintain a safe, supportive, and consistent environment
Qualifications:
Experience working with teens or individuals with developmental disabilities is helpful (but not required—training provided)
Comfortable assisting with personal care
Patient, reliable, and able to model positive social skills
Strong communication skills and ability to follow care guidelines
Must pass standard background checks
