Caregiver for Adult with Autism

Location: Farmington, MI
Schedule: Monday through Wednesday after 4pm, Weekend morning/early afternoons
Compensation: Paid weekly
Training: Paid training provided

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver to support a 20-year-old male with autism and ADHD in Farmington, MI. The ideal candidate will help promote independence while providing safety, structure, and meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with daily routines and activities

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Helping with organization, time management, and task follow-through

• Supporting participation in community activities and hobbies

• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with autism and/or ADHD preferred

• Must be dependable, understanding, and calm under pressure

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow individualized care plans and adapt as needed

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
