Caregiver for Teen with ADHD-Weekly pay

Job Description:
We are seeking a patient and supportive caregiver to assist teen with ADHD. The caregiver will focus on independence skills, initiating conversations, and promoting community inclusion.

Position: Caregiver 

Location: Ecorse (Recipient’s Home & Community)

Schedule:

• Weekdays: Monday: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM; Tuesday- Friday: 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM 
• Hours: 18 CLS hours per week

Pay Rate:

• CLS: $18.30 /hour

Responsibilities:

• Support in developing independence
• Encourage and assist with social interactions (activities, games) 
• Promote community inclusion through outings and engagement
• Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment

Additional Details:

Qualifications:

• Experience with mental health, ADHD, or behavioral support preferred but not required
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Must pass a background check
