Job Description:

We are looking for a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver to support a verbal 10-year-old boy with autism in Hazel Park, MI. The ideal candidate will provide consistent care, encourage communication and independence, and help create a structured, supportive environment. Reliability and open communication are highly valued in an ideal candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

• Engaging in age-appropriate activities

• Supporting communication and social skills

• Assisting with routines and transitions

• Encouraging emotional regulation and coping strategies

• Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children or individuals with autism preferred, but not necessary

• Patient, reliable, and able to follow routines and instructions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be attentive and responsive to the child’s needs
