Caregiver needed for Children

Caregiver for Two 5-Year-Old Siblings (Brownstown, MI)

Position: Part-Time Caregiver
Location: Brownstown, Michigan
Schedule: Weekends required (additional hours may be available)
Pay: Weekly pay + paid training

We are seeking a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver to support two 5-year-old siblings with autism. Both children are non-verbal and require hands-on assistance with daily living tasks, including toileting. Ideal candidates should be attentive, calm under pressure, and experienced or comfortable working with children with developmental differences.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, safety-focused care for two young siblings

• Assist with toileting, hygiene routines, and personal care

• Support basic communication using gestures or communication tools (training provided)

• Engage the children in simple, structured play and sensory activities

• Follow established routines and care plans

• Maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred but not required—training provided)

• Must be dependable, patient, and comfortable with non-verbal communication

• Willingness to learn and follow individualized care strategies

• Ability to work weekends

• Must pass standard background checks (if applicable to the hiring arrangement)
