We are seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a 23-year-old male with Down syndrome in Chesterfield, MI. This position is perfect for someone patient, upbeat, and dedicated to helping individuals live as independently and happily as possible.

Position Details

• Schedule: Afternoons (specific hours can be discussed during interview)

• Location: Chesterfield, MI

• Pay: $16- $18.35 per hour, paid weekly

• Training: Paid training provided—no prior experience with Down syndrome required, just a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and positive engagement

• Assist with daily living tasks as needed (light meal prep, simple household activities, etc.)

• Support community involvement and activities

• Ensure a safe, supportive environment

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required

• Must be dependable, patient, and kind

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Must pass standard background checks
