Caregiver Needed – Support for Teen with Autism (Royal Oak, MI)
Location: Royal Oak, MI
Compensation: 15- 17.20 hourly, paid weekly
Schedule: After school hours needed
Training: Paid training provided

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver for a 15-year-old autistic male in Royal Oak. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This young man is considered an elopement risk, so attentiveness and quick response are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision and care

• Engage in structured and calming activities

• Monitor and prevent elopement behaviors

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians

Qualifications:

• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations

• Must pass a background check
